Jovians are a sapient species of immense pancake-shaped creatures from the gas giant Jupiter. Their technology is primitive, apparently limited to leathery harnesses and pouches, as well as daggers and spears made from the bones of even larger creatures which the Jovians hunt for sustenance.
Unfortunately, Jovians became almost completely extinct when the Cygnans used Jupiter's atmosphere as fuel for their interstellar ships. The only survivors were a couple of specimens taken by the Cygnans to be displayed in their zoo of exotic lifeforms.
Biology[]
Jovians are enormous creatures with pancake-shaped bodies over 100 ft (30.48 m) in diameter. They have scalloped projections on the edges of their bodies which can be used to grasp objects, including 100 ft long spears made from the bones of humongous creatures. The Jovians themselves are without skeleton. They have no visible eyes or other sense organs, but are capable of "seeing" through glass, possibly by radar waves.
