Jeferi

The Jeferi are the former rulers of the planet Taralon. Through genetic experimentation, they attempted to uplift the semi-sapient Pasharti into a subservient slave race, only to instead create a monstrous race that assimilated other lifeforms into more of themselves.

The Jeferi attempted to destroy the Pasharti, but failed to stop a number of them from escaping. Several years later, the Jeferi were overthrown and enslaved by their own creations. The Pasharti claimed Taralon for themselves and reduced the Jeferi to slavery and breeding stock to be assimilated.
