History[]
The Itatrician philosopher Ruscakan was well known scholar who about the perception of historical events. According to him time could be views a cable that's securely tied in the past but loose in the future, and we fix it in place as events unfold. Though the opposite can be said is true, where the future is fixed, immutable: what is destined to happen is what will happen.
However past events are open to interpretation--and to erasure or alteration by the record-keeper, leaving the past fluid. HIs work foreshadowed how The Silent were initially viewed a violent savages in their era. But over time many historical books have portrayed them as noble heroes exemplifying Ruscakan's belief that time was a cable that slips further over time. While the Silent have been labeled as heroes in modern times, their oppressors, the Imperium Ascendant, have been viewed as oppressors; underlining the lesson that history can easily change labels of some, turning villains into victims, peacekeepers as warmongers or even allies into enemies.
