The Insect People are a sapient species of cave-dwelling insectoids which make their hives amidst the Mystic Mountains, close to the Sea of Eternity on planet Eternia.
Biology[]
They are six-limbed insectoids with two legs, four arms, large glossy eyes, insectile mandibles and a pair of curved antennae. Their bodies are protected by a brown exoskeleton.
Like most other life forms on Eternia, Insect People need oxygen to survive. They're born from eggs, which hatch every 50 years. They can also cling to cave ceilings.
It's not known whether they're related to other insectoid species from Eternia such as the Andreenids, the Tycon and the Polti.
Culture and society[]
Insect People are led by a Shaman. They regard Humans as distinctly ugly and monstrous-looking, but while some Insect People are prejudiced, others prefer not to judge people by their appearance. They've been shown to be a courageous race.
