Select Infernocons can combine to form a combiner known as Infernocus.
History[]
The Infernocons were servants of the alien sorceress Quintessa and arrived on the ruins of Cybertron at some point after the battle of Chicago. When Optimus Prime left Earth in search of his "creators" following the battle of Hong Kong and the deaths of Lockdown and Harold Attinger, he crash-landed on Cybertron as Quintessa was in the process of relocating it to Earth's orbit. The Infernocons were in attendance in Quintessa's ignition chamber, menacing Optimus in their combined form Infernocus when the Prime was in a forced audience with the sorceress.
After Cybertron arrived on Earth, Infernocus was present in the ignition chamber when Quintessa's ally, Decepticon leader Megatron, returned with her staff and bore witness to her initiating the ritual that would revitalize Cybertron by harvesting Unicron's lifeforce from Earth's core. When the alliance between the Autobots, the Transformer Reaction Force, and Quintessa's former Guardian Knights stormed the ignition chamber, Infernocus split apart to provide the Decepticons with additional firepower. When Hound came along to reinforce the humans, the Infernocons were ordered by Megatron to combine into Infernocus, whose hulking size and nightmarish appearance intimidated Hound.
Coming under attack by the Autobots' Orbital Assault Carriers, Infernocus downed the ships driven by Bumblebee and Hot Rod. Optimus Prime then arrived on the Guardian Knights' combined form Dragonstorm to engage Infernocus in combat. The large three-headed dragon 'bot knocked the combiner to the ground, allowing Optimus to climb onto his body and inflict damage on their head and chest. Being no match for the Prime, Infernocus once again separated into Infernocons, who tried to gang up on their enemy only to be swiftly decapitated in one mighty swing of Optimus' Sword of Judgement.

Notes[]
- The on-screen design of the Infernocon is based on Skulk, one of the components of Infernocus' Legion Class toy. The other components are recolors of various Predacons from the Transformers: Prime toyline that are thematically based on Generation 1 Terrorcons.
- While portrayed as unaligned Cybertronians in the film, the toyline refers to the Infernocons as Decepticons.
