Aku sought the Imakandi to hunt down Samurai Jack depicting him as the greatest prey they could ever find.
The evil entity offered the Imakandi riches, but to his surprise the Imakandi took the bounty not for the money but for the thrill of the hunt.
Aku proceeded to let them do as they wish and departed their planet. The Imakandi then with the aid of a shaman used their magics to teleport their greatest hunters to Earth and to begin the hunt for Samurai Jack.
