Alien Species

The humanoid aliens are an unnamed humanoid species who visited Earth in the 1960s in preparation of a rather unique sort of conquest, where they first conducted an experiment on Humanity, and monitored the areas of experimentation from nearby locations.

Biology[]

The humanoid aliens appear identical to Humans in outwards appearance, and any differences in internal physiology are unknown.

Culture and society[]

Little is known about the society of the humanoid aliens, other than they are an advanced species who conduct experiments on target populations, with seemingly no regard for the safety of said populations. Their experiments consist of merely manipulating power or other factors that would disrupt order, observing the population for their reaction to these changes. This serves as a prelude to invasion, but rather than use soldiers or other weapons, the humanoid aliens prefer to manipulate populations into turning on themselves, sitting back and watching the population tear itself apart. If this plan fails, it is possible that the humanoid aliens have armies as a backup, or simply leave the planet.

Technology[]

The humanoid aliens have advanced spacecraft shaped like flying saucers that emit bright flashing lights and loud roars when in flight. They have also been seen using a strange device somewhat resembling a sheet music stand, which is capable of disrupting and manipulating the power and communication systems of structures on the ground. This can be used to cut off communities from each other, and create whatever power fluctuations are needed to sow paranoia within the population. Alien crewmen are equipped with earpieces that have long antennae.

In the 1960s, the humanoid aliens arrived on Earth, and began their experiments, which consisted of shutting off power across multiple neighborhoods, also cutting off their communications to the outside world, and observing the results. During one of their experiments, the aliens landed near a town in the United States known as Maple Street, at exactly 6:43 PM, exiting their ship to get a better view, and would routinely turn on the power of random denizens while leaving the rest without power to prompt the Humans to blame each other for the phenomena, and when there was enough paranoia, they would start randomly turning the power on and off, creating riots within the population. After observing this on Maple Street, one of the humanoid aliens told his colleague that all that needs to be done to throw Humanity into chaos is disrupt order, noting that every Human population they experimented on ended in the same way, blaming each other and starting a riot that resulted in the destruction of the settlement, although with a few minor variations. Seeing that this pattern can be exploited to have Human settlements destroy themselves, they return to their ship, ready to begin their conquest.
