Hoovers are a race of small sapient pachydermoids. They have large eyes and a very long proboscis used to feed on the blood of large creatures. Both their large eyes and their habit of sucking blood out of sleeping creatures strongly suggest that Hoovers are nocturnal. A famous Hoover was Attark.

Hoovers are named after the Hoover brand vacuum cleaners.
