The Hingefreel are an alien species native to the planet Arkintoofle Minor. They are best known as having invented a manner of faster-than-light travel by constructing spaceships powered by bad news. Though they found that bad news does in fact travel much faster than light, the vehicles ended up being quite problematic as no matter what the destination was, they were always received unwelcome at the arrival.
