The "Hijarnans" were an extinct race formerly indigenous to the planet Hijarna. They were known to be the builders of the Fortress of Hijarna, which was their last point of defense against extraterrestrial invaders. Unfortunately this fortress seemed to fail them and they fell into extinction around this time period, presumably due to the invasion.
