The Heys are a humanoid alien species whose language is only composed of the word "hey". They are described as dangerous deranged nihilists, chatty and ceremonious by their enemies, the Whats. They are identical in appearance to the Tick's sidekick, Arthur.
History[]
The Heys develop two weapons, an artificial Black-hole generator, which is inserted into another black hole to destroy the universe and the Infinity Ball, which tracks down their enemies and attempts to destroy. Then the whole population stations their ship in front of the black hole at the center of the universe and listens to their leader's "farewell to everything" speech for thirteen years. Finally, the leader throws the Black-hole generator into the black hole at the Milky Way's center, only to be interrupted by the Earthling superhero duo of The Tick and Arthur. The Tick barely manages to pull the generator from The black hole's unrivaled gravitational pull, only to have the Infinity Ball float in seconds later. The Tick easily defeats the weapon and the entire Hey population ends up worshiping the two heroes who return back to earth.
Notes[]
- The species only appears in The Tick's second season episode: "The Tick vs. The Big Nothing."
