The Hawjabrans have several central nervous nodes located all over their bodies instead of a primary brain, making them useless for the Yeerks to infest.
Culture and society[]
They are a space-faring culture and, according to Aximili-Esgarrouth-Isthill, their freighters resemble the USS Enterprise-D from Star Trek: The Next Generation.
History[]
During the early years of the Yeerks' path to dominating the galaxy, the Yeerks once tried to make into Controllers. After attacking a Hawjabran Colony Ship, the Yeerks quickly abandoned the idea upon discovering that Hawjabran's biology included a widespread nervous system.
