Harpies are a sapient species of winged female humanoids from the planet Etheria.
Biology[]
Harpies are an all-female species of flying humanoids with digitigrade legs and bird-like feet. They have pale greyish skin and purplish feathers covering most of their bodies, with the exception of their faces, upper chest, upper arms, hands and feet. Some individuals have the whole arms featherless, while others have the lower arms feathered. Their wings are large, membranous and covered in purplish-pink plumage. In some individuals, the wings appear to be featherless. Their hands are four-fingered, and all digits are sharp like talons. They also have red eyes, pointed ears, mammalian breasts, and eagle-like tails. The number of horns on their heads vary from none to three. Their diet includes fruit, suggesting that they're most likely omnivorous.
Culture and society[]
Harpies make their homes on the desolate Talon Mountain and refer to each other as sisters. They wear no clothes and seem to have very little technology.
