Characteristics
The Gulphog is an Aurelian carnivore that vaguely resembles an ostrich, which eat Mudpods. Gulphogs are 4.5 metres tall and weigh 500 kilograms, the largest predators on Aurelia. Gulphogs have a sophisticated hierarchical structure. They have a unique warning system to warn of solar flare- they have three eyes, one which signals UV rays. Gulphogs educate their young and protect them. They use their long teeth to pick up vibrations. Their only known predator is the Hysteria.
