The Gu’un are a species originally from the planet Gu'a who invaded Earth and summarily conquered it.
Biology[]

The Gu’un are grey skinned, blue-haired humanoids with enlarged craniums, which some human scientists suggest superior intelligence. Apparently the resonant frequency of the Gu'un native tongue, combined with the atmospheric pressure of Earth means that, when they say their native names out loud it causes humans beings to defecate uncontrollably. Gu'un also appear to shed their skin daily. Gu'un were quote long-lived as a middle aged looking member was said to be one and a half aeons old.
History[]
The Gu'un inhabited the planet Gu'ua in a distant galaxy, until the sun which their planet orbited, eventually expanded in a super-heated red giant that exploded, consuming the planet.
The species managed to evacuate from Gu'ua. And since they they have spent several decades searching other galaxies for a planet with a breathable atmosphere. The Gu’un having been traveling through space came across the Voyager probe as it crashed into their mothership. Upon salvaging the Golden Record the aliens were able to determine the probe’s origin.
When they arrived in Earth’s solar system, they spared no time in launching a fleet to invade the planet. During the invasion the aliens blew up the coast of New Zealand. And within six weeks after the invasion all the nations on Earth were formally under alien control, the last nation to fall being China. Various world leaders, who survived, were then forced to publicly convince the public to lay down their arms and accept the occupation in order to life on Earth to resume as there was a low-orbit super weapon in orbit is still in a constant state of readiness and trained on all of humanity of the time, Leaders or dissidents that refused to cooperate with the aliens though were ejected out into space from the mothership.
With a new regime in place in Earth, the Gu’un set about to administer their new territories. One being Territory 78, formerly Great Britain. Though after removing most of the native officials, the new administrators of the territory decided to relocate operations of the capital from London to Clitheroe, reasoning it made more sense as it was the exact center of the country.
Another policy that the aliens implemented was the cessation of all diesel-fueled vehicles. The Gu'un saw the mode of transport to be detrimental to the planet as it literally pumps out poison. To dis-incentivised the use of internal combustion engines, the Gu'un through a work of technology cause all such engines to emit an electric shock to anyone attempting to start the engines.
However the new capital of Territory 78, faced opposition from the Anti-Alien Alliance. Though the resistance was crushed thanks to a cowardly human turncoat and the entire organization member rooster was spaced.
Culture[]
The Gu’un appear to be energetic and friendly though these traits fails to hide the menacing attitude they hold over their human subordinates. They appear to be wholly oblivious to the fear and hatred they amassed, indicating a somewhat absentmindedness or lack of empathy.
Interestingly members of the species appear to be quite territorial among their own kind over the littlest squabbles from work space, etc. The species were structured around a organization called the Central Command which they answered to, adhering to military rank.
From their perspective, they reason their presence on Earth was due to an “invitation” by humans, citing the Voyager probe and radio signals being sent to deep space. When faced with their war atrocities on humanity, the Gu’un argue that they were fired on first, failing to understand their own complicity in the situation.
Gu'un also appear to lack an understanding of currency, seeing paper money as useless colorful paper, and merely a means to incentivize their human thralls.
Technology[]
The Gu’un appear to be technically advance, possessing pulse weapons, weaponry that can fire energy discharges and could either be recharged electrically or a simple matter of re-pressurization similar to a pneumatic air gun.
Nuclear weaponry to the Gu’un is regarded as primitive and not a threat, unlike their particle disruptor, Their computer technology though is ten times more powerful, and logins require DNA scans.
