The Grizzled Slamphibian is a large, muscular creature resembling the earth toad. While populations are found locally within AR-Y 26, populations once also existed within DL-C1 but they went extinct due to human interference. Curiously, its body contains components primarily mirroring that of aluminum rather than true organic material.
Anatomy[]
Grizzled slamphibians are fairly large, just taller than an average human. They are amphibian only in appearance, as their skin is durable enough to withstand lava and magma when moving through it. Their arms, which are their key feature, are several times larger than their miniscule back legs. This means that they move around with a swinging gate: their front arms swinging the backend forward in each stride. Their arms are covered in a form of armor.
Behavior[]
Grizzled slamphibians are highly territorial creatures, and upon being approach are quick to respond with hostility towards the intruder. Their main type of intimidation mirrors that of an earth gorilla: beating at their chest. Even so, they will grow quick to attack if the intruder is still within their territory.
Abilities[]
- Aerokinesis - Grizzled slamphibians, although they themselves may not appear capable of it, are observed to use a variety of air manipulation techniques. Some include releasing gust shockwave when landing within an area. They are also capable of creating miniature cyclones within a nearby area.
