Grippians are a sapient extra-galactic species which originates from the planet Grippia, in the constellation Xenes, and possess highly-advanced technology.
Biology[]
Physically, the Grippians resemble sea anemones, with a single eye surrounded by cilia, and live submerged in a liquid (likely aquatic) environment. Their pupils glow while they're speaking.
Groups of Grippians act like a single unified organism, in the sense that their thoughts are linked, and they speak in a single voice. They can absorb the knowledge of any sapient creature (Grippian or non-Grippian) that they come in contact with.
Grippians need high levels of ultraviolet radiation to survive. They cannot survive on Earth due to the comparative weakness of the sun. On the Earth's moon, where there is no atmosphere and therefore the UV radiation is stronger, the Grippians can survive, albeit not indefinitely.
