The Goomer is a hopping creature who lives on Melmac and delivers foam to all the good Melmacian boys and girls on Goomer Day Eve. He can create foam from his fingertips and shape it into foam-made toys and other objects. He also magically knows everything about everyone.
After Melmacian parents who doubted the Goomer's existence started impersonating him and giving foam to their children themselves, the real Goomer saw his own involvement as superfluous and went into retirement.
