Gloobers have a natural tendency to hide themselves under or even within rocks and other objects in order to blend in with their environment, as they are not particularly capable of any other sort of defense or offense. They are considered a rare delicacy to capture because of this ability to blend into any environment. They have a tender, slightly sweet flavor that is widely considered to be even better than the Briskettlefish of the planet Baconia. This being said, some consider their taste to have more in line with snot. These creatures are also common prey for the Maw.
