Ghayrogs are a species of reptilianoid organisms indigenous to an unknown location. They are decidedly gorgonic or demonic in appearance, as they display both a forked tongue and what appear to be serpentine hair. They are notable for their little or entirely lack of visible emotion and for their uncanny ability to sleep only once per year.

While nothing is known of their culture or technological levels off of Majipoor, on Majipoor much of their population is concentrated into the city of Dulorn. However, they can be found throughout much of the planet's surface area, and some are known to have served as high government functionaries.
