The Gatekeepers are a eldritch race from beyond the collective consciousness of human thought.
Biology[]
The Gatekeepers resemble humanoids, with pale membranous skin and four eyes. They are creatures with a higher consciousness enabling them to enslave the minds of other races. They live to absorb the minds of other races and creatures. They are capable of manipulating the dreamscape and even opening bridges between worlds through dreamers.
History[]
The Gatekeepers invaded the realm of the Regulators enslaving the minds of the inhabitants, turning them into their puppets. As they depleted the Regulators world, they turned their sights onto Earth. To prepare for their next invasion, they ordered the Regulators to divorce their world from Earth's and erase the existence of other worlds from the minds of man. Ancient man who had traded with the Regulators in their dreams found themselves wiped of any memory of their encounters with the other world.
In the 21st century, the Gatekeepers amassed an army in the dreamscape to prepare for conquest, however they were foiled by a rebel Regulator and a human boy who possessed the power to walk through dreams. Despite their setback the Gatekeepers still plan on sending another attack on Earth.
