Ganymedans, a.k.a. Cat-People, are the native sapient inhabitants of Jupiter's satellite Ganymede.

Biology[]

Ganymedans are feline-like humanoids covered in golden fur. They have slanted green eyes, small flat noses, pointed ears, red lips and sharp white teeth. They communicate by a musical language that sounds like a combination of mewing and purring.

Culture and society[]

Ganymedans are a matriarchal race, with females being dominant in their society. They live in dome-shaped communal dwellings, ride lizard-like mounts and hunt with spears. Their clothing is limited to breechclouts. They have been described as a friendly species, albeit potentially dangerous.

The Ganymedan city of Gatos is built inside a crater and powered by magnetic electricity that pours down from Jupiter's Red Spot.
