Fliers (also known as Seekers, Aerialbots, and Jet Soldiers) are a subspecies of aerial-themed Cybertronian Soldiers from the planet Cybertron.

Biology[]

Anatomy[]

Titans share a similar biology to other Cybertronians, except they transform into Cybertronian fighter jets.

Powers and abilities[]

Fliers share many of the same abilities as other Cybertronians, namely Seekers and Aerialbots. Swapping between their robot and vehicle modes on the fly, they can hover in the air in either mode.

Fliers often attack in groups to make up for their relatively weak strength.

Fliers are highly maneuverable in vehicle mode, becoming very difficult targets to lock onto with some weapons.

Fliers become more accurate with their weapons in robot mode, as they are armed with some form of X12 Scrapmaker.

Weaknesses[]

Fliers share many of the same weaknesses as other Cybertronians.

Fliers are relatively weak as combatants on their own. They are also easier to strike in robot mode by their feet "thrusters", as hitting them by these weak points sends them sailing out of control into the nearest wall before exploding.

Culture and society[]

Fliers share a similar culture to other Cybertronians. They are generally employed as aerial soldiers for the Autobot, Decepticon, and even neutral armies.

Notes[]

  • The Decepticon Fliers are nicknamed "Seekers" by the Autobots as a nod to various Decepticons that also transform into jets such as Starscream, Thundercracker, and Skywarp.
    • Likewise, Autobot Fliers are nicknamed "Aerialbots" by the Decepticons as a nod to various Autobots that similarly transform into jets such as Jetfire, Air Raid, and Silverbolt.
  • In the Nintendo 3DS version of Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark, Cybertronian Autobots and Decepticons classified as "Heavy Soldiers" utilize the Flier design from War for Cybertron.
