The Withering Blowhog is a smaller species of Air Blowhog discovered by Captain Olimar on PNF-404.

The Withering Blowhog is a smaller variation to the Puffy Blowhog with orange-red skin. With its yellow patterns along its sides it makes its pattern resemble fire. On its short tube-like snout are a few white whiskers, though it is unknown what they're used for. Like its larger cousin, it also has a small pair of flippers for stability in the air.
The Withering Blowhog's signature air breath isn't as powerful as that of its larger counterpart, but studies of its breath revealed a hormonic gas within its breath that is capable of withering away flowering plants. Its breath seemingly holds a ethylene like compound that's toxic to most plant life, and fairly harmful towards plant-like animals such as Pikmin.
It has proved itself to be sapient seeing how it laughs after deflowering a Pikmin.
