Kirby's Species

Kirby's species, or Kirbys, are a spherical creatures of inhabitants of the Planet Pop Star.

Behavior[]

Most of them love lounging and are laid-back and think friendly kirbys.

Biology[]

It is difficult to judge what the species biology is because a lot of traits appear to be exclusive to certain members. Universal among all of Kirby's species, they're spherical in shape, have 2 hands (either with a no finger or no fingers.), 2 oval feet, and are very short, only being around 8 inches tall. All members of Kirby's species possess some form of flight, being able to either puff up like a balloon or pertain wings of some kind. These wings vary from bat like wings, Angel wings, and butterfly like wings. The colors of Kirby's Species range from pink, green, blue, dark blue, red, yellow, white, black, purple, grey, and orange.

Kirby's species are known for being very powerful and adaptable predators. Their hunting tactic involves opening their mouths very fast to create a powerful gust of wind which allows them to pull in and swallow their prey whole in seconds in a matter similar to that of some species of Earth fish. Kirbies with this ability can either spit out their prey in a star, varying in size depending on how big the object they inhaled was, or absorb the prey's ability (E.g if the Kirby eats a creature that is capable of using fire, they will gain the fire ability.). Kirbies can eat as much as they want without getting full. This inhale ability has a limit as if the object/prey is too big or if the ability will not work. If used for too long, the Kirby will get tired. It is unknown if all of Kirby's species has this ability as some characters like Meta Knight appear slightly different and have never been seen using this ability.

All known members of Kirby's species have strength and durability far greater than any human. Most notably, Galacta Knight as been confirmed to be able to destroy planets and Kirby and Meta Knight can both beat him in combat. Dark Meta Knight, Keeby, And Shadow Kirby have all shown to be comparable to Meta Knight and Kirby. Thieve also all shown to be able to move faster than light as some bosses have laser based attacks and all members can either dodge the attacks or keep up with Kirby himself. Some members of Kirby's Species can either survive extended periods without oxygen or do not require it at all. Kirby and Meta Knight have both been underwater and in space for long periods of time without breathing apparatuses.

Kirby's species posses the ability to speak. Oddly Kirby himself has rarely seen speaking. However, he has spoken quite a few times, mostly uttering a hi at best the vast majority of the time. Very rarely has he been shown speaking in full sentences.

Kirby's species has very long lifespans. Kirby is 200 and considered a juvenile. Meta Knight is centuries years older than Kirby and still in fighting shape. Kirby's species is also heavily implied to be critically endangered with himself, Meta Knight, and a few others being the only known surviving members.

It is not 100% certain if Kirby's Species can occur or reproduce naturally most of the time. Many times, whenever a member of Kirby's species has been created in the games, it was either cloned or a offshoot from Kirby. In the anime, they were all created to fight N M E and it is unknown if the species has reproductive capabilities. However, certain Kirbies have made appearances who are not directly cloned or created from the original Kirby. These Kirbies appear to be regular members of the species opposed to solely being created from Kirby's DNA.

Technology[]

Due to popstar containing numerous advanced civilizations, it is hard to pin point what technology is invented by Kirby species or reversed engineered from their sibling civilizations. However 2 inventions used by Kirby's species but not by any other on popstar are cellphones and spaceships.

Kirby's species cellular technology appears to very similar to that of phones from the 90s with a stick with a star on top to gather reception. There phones can be used to either call other people or there space ships such as Kirby's warpstar.

Kirby's species space technology is advanced. They also double as aerospace technology as it they be flown safely in a planet's atmosphere. They're 2 types of spaceships, small transport ships like the Warp Star, or large warships like the Halberd. Small ships can transport a maximum of at least 4 people across great distances. Large ships can feed and house hundreds of crewmates and possess weaponry that can easily take out smaller ships. They have several components to them, all of which must be the destroyed in order to down the ship. Both kinds of ship can go faster than light.

Kirby[]

Kirby is a round pink Kirby and the main character of the franchise. In the games, he is native to the kingdom of Dreamland. He sucks enemies into his mouth to gain a copy ability, which allow him to fight. He protects Dreamland, Popstar, and occasionally the galaxy, from all kinds of harm.

Lord Meta Knight[]

Meta Knight is (presumably) a dark blue Kirby and the leader of the Meta-Knights. In the games he is a rather enigmatic character. His motives are mostly unknown until after Kirby battles him. He owns a giant warship called Battleship Halberd. In Kirby Super Star and its remake, Kirby Super Star Ultra, Meta Knight used the Halberd to try and take over Dreamland by force, ending its lazy lifestyle for good. Kirby defeated him, however. He always wears a silver mask, and he only appears without it when he is defeated and Kirby knocks it off. In the anime, Meta Knight is a Star Warrior and is a servant to King Dedede, although he criticizes Dreamland's greedy dictator openly. He is a sort of mentor to Kirby, but only helps him out when he knows Kirby is outmatched. In the anime, the Halberd is used to try and defeat Nightmare.

Keeby aka Kadi in amazing mirror[]

Keeby is a yellow Kirby and Kirby's friend.

Shadow Kirby[]

He is a shadow clone of Kirby from the Mirror World. He fights Kirby at first because he's trying to protect his homeworld, but they later team up to save the Mirror World from Dark Mind. His motive in that is playing a prank on Kirby.

Galacta Knight[]

Galacta Knight once was the best Warrior in the Galaxy, until Meta Knight defeated him. Galacta Knight was imprisoned long time ago because everybody was afraid of his power. It's unknown if he is a Kirby, but he looks similar to Meta Knight, who is one. He only appeared in the games.

Dark Meta Knight[]

Dark Meta Knight is an evil shadow clone of Meta Knight produced by Dark Mind. He fought against Kirby and Meta Knight several times. He first appeared in Kirby and the Amazing Mirror. He never appeared in the anime. He later appears in the Triple Deluxe sub game dededetour as a boss. His latest appearance is in Kirby Star Allies as a playable character.

Meta Knights[]

The Meta Knights, who are led by Sir Meta Knight, are a group of Knights who travel in Battleship Halberd. They once tried to conquer Dreamland. Two of the Meta Knights seem to be Poyo, Axe Knight and Trident Knight. However, it is unknown if they really are.

Star Warriors[]

Note: Star warriors are a concept currently exclusive to the Kirby anime, which is not canon.

Sir Arthur: a Star Warrior and the Leader of the Galaxy Soldier Army. He's one of the most important star warriors. Little else is known about him.
Sir Lancelot: a member of the Galaxy Soldier Army and a Star Warrior. He was one of the few survivors of the war between the Army and Nightmare Enterprises.
Sir Galahad: a member of the Galaxy Soldier Army and a Star Warrior. He serves under Sir Arthur and is one of the survivors of the war.
Sir Percival: another survivor of the war. He is a Star Warrior, and he also serves under Sir Arthur.
