Riverfruits are a type of fruit native to the planet Alzarius which consist of an important part of the Alzarian diet. They look similar to a large papaya, green on the outside and yellow on the inside, and grow on trees that flourish in the swamp areas.
While for the most part they usually contain the seeds that will give rise to newborn Riverfruit trees; during Mistfall, some of the Riverfruits instead generate eggs of Alzarian Spiders, which develop inside the fruits and hatch from them fully grown.
