The Grifans are a race of winged creatures from the planet Grife.
Biology[]
They Grifans are a purple furred race of winged organisms. Their mouths resemble prehensile lips, and they possess wing flaps underneath their arms allowing for flight.
History[]
The Grifans were one of many races the the Vine had abducted from their homeworlds. They were forced into servitude on the Vine homeworld, Loam, working in their sacred gardens.
When King Aric of Dacia killed their wardens, he rallied them to join in a rebellion against the Vine Empire. They followed him in the slave revolt, providing aerial assault. Their combined attack destabilize the governmental structure of the Vine. After Aric beheaded the Vine leaders, the Vine leadership was passed to the High Priest who guaranteed that the Grifans would be returned to their homeplanet.
