The Xerge are a race of sentient X-shaped aliens from an unknown planet.

Biology[]

Anatomy[]

Xerge resemble small X-shaped blocks with a single green eye at the center of their bodies, with a second eye sometimes on the top right side. Similar to Galvanic Mechamorphs, they have circuitry patterns covering their bodies.

Although they are traditionally purple with purple circuitry patterns, Xerge can come in others colors depending on who is controlling them. For example, Surge is purple with green circuitry patterns and Ben 10,000's Surge is black with green circuitry patterns.

Powers and abilities[]

Xerge have a hive mind and can combine with other members of their race to form giant constructs, most notably humanoid golems with eyes shaped like glowing Xs.

Xerge have the ability to levitate above low ground. They can levitate higher to the point of flying by pushing themselves upwards while being close enough with any kind of structure, object, or terrain.

Despite lacking limbs, Xerge have a degree of enhanced strength, enough to pull themselves out of the ground.

Xerge are durable enough to withstand being hammered into the ground.

Weaknesses[]

Without a large number of their own kind, Xerge are practically useless and powerless on their own.

Due to their X-like shape, Xerge can have trouble moving on the ground.

There is a limit to a Xerge's durability, as they can be incapacitated by strong impacts or energy attacks.

Xerge are vulnerable to magic, as they can knocked out by projectiles made of magical energy.

Xerge are vulnerable to fire, such as that generated by a Pyronite.

Xerge are vulnerable to electricity, such as that generated by a Nosedeenian.

Culture and society[]

The Xerge are mostly submissive. However, each group does have a dominant member controlling the others.

Notable members[]

  • Surge: An Omnitrix transformation used by Ben Tennyson.
    • Surge (Reboot Future): An alternate adult version of Surge used by an alternate Ben 10,000.

Notes[]

  • Despite only appearing in the reboot continuity, Xerge have been confirmed to exist in the original Ben 10 continuity.[1] However, it is currently unknown whether Surge's DNA is available the Omnitrix as of Omniverse.
  • The Xerge appear to fulfil a role similar to that of the Nanochips from the original continuity.
