The Umbloda family consists of Jellyfloat-like creatures that can be found within northern regions on PNF-404. The first member of this family was discovered by Captain Charlie.
Description[]
Possibly an evolutionary descendent to Jellyfloats, All members of this family group are sometimes mistaken for members of the Jellyfloat family due to their similar characteristics. The main difference being that they all possess a uvula-like appendage underneath their bells they use as their main method of hunting.
All species also have a specialized structure on their heads, each species having its own unique structure. It is currently unknown what exact purpose these structures serve for the creature.

- The hunting methods of the Umbloda hold a strong resemblance to the Barnacles from the Half-Life series.
- Recent studies deducted through Captain Olimar relate these creatures to aquatic Jellyfish. Whether or not they are biologically related is still up to debate.
