The Fiery Bulblax is a large species of Grub-Dog discovered during one of Captain Olimar's expeditions onto PNF-404. While less common, reports consider it the deadliest form of Grub-Dog.
Description
This species of Grub-Dog is a less common species that holds a resemblance to the intimidating Emperor Bulblax. Large and bulky, their bodies almost appear to be melting, with their jaws having very notable, disjointed flews that cover their teeth. Another odd feature this Bulblax has is its asymmetrical eyes, with one more developed than the other. It's impossible to truly say why this occurs.
Although appearing intimidating, Fiery Bulblaxes had been reported living in closer proximity to eachother, especially during winter months to keep themselves warm.
Abilities
Their most notable feature to their anatomy is their flammable coat, most notable on their backsides. Their backsides are almost constantly on fire while the creature's awake, but will end up going out if caught in the rain, or falling into water.
Its body excretes a flammable waxy substance that interacts with the cell structure of the Fiery Bulblax, causing it to catch fire from high temperatures. While fatal to any other animal, this same cell structure has a spongy exterior though, diffusing surface heat so the inner organs are protected from its own heat chemical protection.
