Fearcats are sapient felinoids, most of whom were trapped within a mirror-like prison. Mig, the leader of the Fearcat army, invaded Earth and fought the Overdrive Rangers for possession of the jewels of the Corona Aurora, which could free other Fearcats.
Biology[]
Fearcats are humanoids with felinoid traits, as their name implies. They are known to have varying phenotypes resembling different Earth felines, such as snow leopards, Bengal tigers, and cheetahs, mostly reflected by their facial structures and fur colors, although their fur better resembles hard armor. The only known female Fearcat, oddly, better resembled a wolf than a feline, making it possible that female Fearcats are caninoid. Individual Fearcats can display a variety of abilities, such as pyrokinesis, energy manipulation, shockwave generation, teleportation, and illusion casting, although all Fearcats display super strength, super durability, super speed and agility, and the ability to grow their bodies to giant size in a discharge of blue energy.
Culture and society[]
Fearcats, or at least the army led by Mig, gained a reputation throughout space that left them hated by many, no matter their alignment, such as the forces of the alien warlord Kamdor. Fearcats wear armor that reflects the theme of the animals they resemble, such as bearing a chestplate with a feline face, and are experts in hand-to-hand combat, often using nothing other than their own strength and agility in combat, even against armed opponents. Fearcats are known to attack civilians unprovoked, their actions being reminiscent of terrorists, even targeting members of the Intergalactic Emergency Responder Squad, a non-military search and rescue team.
Technology[]
Fearcats have been seen using clawed gauntlets, bladed staffs that can fire energy waves capable of reverting Mercurians to liquid mercury, and bazookas that fire explosive charges of green energy, which can grow to giant size with Fearcats.
