The unnamed hulking humanoids are the native sapient species of a place called Emsiu.
Biology[]
The beings from Emsiu are hulking creatures. They are bipedal, with red-tinged or pink skin, long golden teeth, and four-fingered claws. Their faces bear four yellow eyes, giving them a fearsome appearance.
Their most distinguishing trait is the pair of long amber tusks that emerge from the center of their two palms—razor-sharp appendages capable of slicing through steel or stone. This species possesses remarkable regenerative abilities, allowing them to heal broken teeth and even grievous wounds within seconds. Even when severed in half, they can eventually reattach and restore themselves over time.
Emsiuans possess superhuman strength, easily capable of leveling entire buildings and shrugging off laser-based weaponry. The species has two genders. Males are typically a head shorter than females, who have long, fleshy brow ridges and are significantly stronger in terms of physical power.
Their lifespans stretch into the thousands of years. Even more impressive, they can survive without food for millennia by slowly digesting a single prey item over time.
History[]
Thousands of years ago a pair of siblings of this species, Colossus and Juggernaut, left a path of terror in their wake, terrorizing the universe. They eventually came across the advanced Fantanian Empire on Fantania. With their might they decimated the planet and its people, devouring its royal family.
At some point the two siblings ruled Fantania for a time, until Juggernaut betrayed her brother and defeated him. She imprisoned him in a prison called the Cosmic Nail, banishing him to a remote world.
Thousand years later the reign of terror of the two faded into myth. Until the Dornian known as Battle Beast sought the Colossus in a effort to find death so he could be rid of his never ending rage. Freeing the Colossus, the Dornian bested the galactic terror in battle, separating him into two. From the disemboweled body of the Colossus, the Fantanian prince emerged who pleaded for Battle Beast to help him and to return him to his empire.
Initially seeing the Fantanian as fresh meat, Battle Beast took the alien and some of the Colossus flesh and one of his tusks with him as spoils. Though the Dornian planned to eat the prince, he became intrigued to learn that the Colossus had a sister who defeated him in battle. Thus Battle Beast headed to Fantania to seek another challenge.
Battle Beast and his comrades crashed on Fantania, which had become a primitive world due to Juggernaut’s rule. Upon arriving the group made contact with the former court wizard of the Fantanian royal family, who forged the Forever Blade using Colossus’ tusk to allow Battle Beast to fight the Juggernaut.
Battle Beast made his way to the castle of the Juggernaut. The two being engaged in combat. Initially Juggernaut did not take Battle Beast as a threat, despite him felling her sibling. Though upon experiencing the Dornian’s savagery she admitted he was a threat, so much so she threw him out of her castle before succumbing to her wounds.
Culture[]
So far there is very little information on the cultural aspect of the species. From the historical record of event that occurred thousands of years ago, by two siblings, the species appears to revel in carnage, seeing mass destruction and even consuming another species as common.
According to intelligence from the Viltrumite Empire, Emsiu is regarded as a fable or myth. So far it is unknown if Emsiu is even a planet, dimension or merely a region from another planet.
