The Dyella is a giant serpentine predator native to the planet Tran-ky-ky.

Biology[]

This species superficially resembles a giant snake, but like most fauna on Tran-ky-ky's frozen ocean plains, it is covered in fur and presumably warm-blooded, making it closer to a limbless mammal. It is 20 meters long and slides over the smooth ice propelled by twin membranous sails that run over its backside. Its flattened underside secretes hot lubricating slime, and its flexible body allows it great maneuverability. Its fur coloration is maroon and pink. Its bite is extremely venomous. It preys on Achivars.
