The Drahken are a species supposedly native to Tabius Rasa in the Jericho Reach of the Milky Way Galaxy in the 41st Millennium.
Biology[edit | edit source]
The Drahkens are six-limbed, reptilians that can grow up to a meter in length, not including the tail. They seem to be capable of reading and projecting emotions onto humans.
Background[edit | edit source]
A sentient species they actively communicate with humans. However their origins are unclear as the Imperium of Man's records do not identify any sapient or even protosapient species that existed on Tabius Rasa. There are theories that Warp contamination could mutated a native life form, but there are few signs of contamination among the human population. Another theory is that the Drahkens are not native to the Tabius Rasa system however evidence of any spacecraft fail to support this theory. The Tech-priests of the Machine God however have abducted several innocent human inhabitants of Tabius Rasa along with their Drahken familiars. After inducing amnesia on humans are returning them to the populace, the tech-priests hope to learn more from the alien samples. According to their investigations through a psychic probe, the humans seemed to radiate an unusual degree of contentment.
Culture[edit | edit source]
The Tabius Rasa, the Drahkens are treated with great deference by the human colonists who often carry them on their shoulders, and even treat them as peers. While the planet lacks a central government, only as independent city-states some of the Drahkens are part of the ruling elite.
