The Dragonfolk are a native species from an unknown world known tentatively as the New World.
Biology[]
Dragonfolk are humanoid dragonoids with dark skin. Males can reach an average height of 2 meters, while females an average height of 1.75 meters. They had very small scales covering their entire bodies, two horns on their heads. Both their eyes and hair were red.
History[]
The Dragonfolk were one of the dominant species in the New World. However that changed after the coming of the Winged People of the Ravernal Empire that transferred to their world. The Dragonfolk were ruled by the dragon gods and possessed a country called Infidragoon. They came in conflict with the Winged People of the Ravernal Empire after they demanded that the dragon gods to send them a number of dragonfolk each year to them. The Winged People in their cruelty and vanity desired the strong and beautiful hides of the Dragonfolk for satchel.
The dragon gods resolutely refused this outrageous demand and the Winged People triggered Dragon Sorcery War. The war was extremely fierce and the Ravernal used its advanced technology wiping one of Infidragoon’s large cities. To survive the dragonfolk deserted the country, fleeing all over the world.
After the Ravernal Empire incurred the wrath of the gods in the form of meteors the Winged People used their technology to transport into the future. With the departure of the tyranny of the Ravernal Empire the dragonfolk once again gathered to form a country, which became the Emor Kingdom though scars from their oppression remain.
Under the rule of Emor Kingdom, after thousands of years the dragonfolk had a vision of the return of the Ravernal Empire within a few decades. In fear of this revelation they uncovered that the secret of defeating their ancient enemies laid in a newly transferred country known as Japan. In a strange turn of events they quickly dropped tehir isolationist policy and opened relations with Japan.
Culture[]
The dragonfolk were a powerful race, throughout all of history of the New World. They never bowed to any power other save for the winged humanoids of the Ravernal Empire. The Dragonfolk are notorious for their prejudice towards humanity, as they feel superior due to their larger Mana reserves than humans making them more powerful than human mages. Due to that are a magic-centric race holding it to be a standard of civilization rather than technology. They possess a ritual of divination of space which was a yearly event allowed them to peer into the future so as to determine whether there were any important or significant events that would affect the country. These space divinations were known to have an accuracy of over 98%.
