The Dowutin are a sapient species of large, bulky humanoids with orange skin, grimacing faces and two tusks protruding from their chins. They are native to the Core Worlds planet of Dowut. Many members of the species operate as hunters or mercenaries. Grummgar, a Dowutin hunter, was present at Maz Kanata's castle on Takodana the day the First Order attacked it.
