Dolongs are a species of trees native to the planet Perdide, a.k.a. Gamma 12.
Biology[]
Found exclusively in a small area of Perdide, Dolongs grow in dense aggregations and emanate a special gas that keeps the Giant Hornets away, but seems to be harmless to Humans.
Dolong fruits glow luminous at night and are either red or yellow. Only the red fruits are edible for Humans. Unfortunately, the two kinds can only be distinguished when they're glowing, otherwise they appear to be the same color.
