The Destroyers are a fabled race that is said to exist out in The Void of the Seven Galaxies.

Biology[]

Destroyers were huge, ancient, biomechanical creatures.

It’s unknown what Destroyers actually look like, though a specimen found on in the depths basements had three meters of black carapace sticking out of the earth was fraction of a Destroyer’s body. They also possess a myriad tendrils and tentacles which they can use to ensure beings that walk about the surface of their bodies. Their are spines and spikes on its body which flattened and retracted until it was smooth when they ready to take flight and to the stars.

Destroyers require energy to function. Said energy is received by drawing heat from a planet but they also need organic matter.

Destroyers don’t settle on planets. They’re bigger than most cities, probably bigger than many continents. They just drift around, eating dying stars.

Culture[]

Due to contemporary thinking that there is nothing in the Void, many races believed that the Destroyers are a myth. They were only heard only in stories, the kind of stories parents tell their misbehaving children.

Scholars believed they were intelligent, living on a life cycle so extended most species saw several generations live and die during a single breath of one of the great leviathans.

These stories says that the Destroyers slumber in The Void. That they’ll return one day to cleanse the Seven Galaxies so that life may begin anew.

Though according to one specimen, the name Destroyers is designation given to them by others. They claim to be so much more than that, though do not refute that they devour worlds.
