Demons are a sapient alien species originating from the Dark Dimension.
Biology[]
When summoned into our dimension, Demons take the form of child-sized, seemingly-harmless bipeds. Their bodies are covered in dark-grey fur. They have digitigrade goat-like hooved legs, a long reptilian tail, four-clawed hands, membranous bat-like wings, a couple of horns on their heads, and pointed ears. Although not necessarily hostile, these child-sized Demons can still be dangerous due to the disruptive effects that the dimensional breach required for summoning them has on our dimension, which can result in poltergeist-like phenomena and even large-scale destruction. Some individuals with magical abilities appear to be particularly affected by this, and feel like their powers are being drained; although Trollans seem to be immune (possibly because they too are extradimensional).
After a few hours, a Demon summoned into our dimension will cocoon itself and emerge as a gigantic creature, similar to its previous form, but also possessing glowing eyes and sharp fangs. They have access to highly destructive magic.
Culture and society[]
Demons are sapient creatures and, despite claiming that destruction is in their nature, actually possess free will. They are capable of befriending other creatures and choosing to help them if they want to.
