Cyclones are a subspecies of semi-sapient Cybertronian Mini-Cons from the planet Cybertron.
Biology[]
Anatomy[]
Cyclones share a similar biology to other Cybertronian Mini-Cons, except they transform into spheres.
The most common type of Cyclone resembles quadrupeds though various other types exist including:
- Armored humanoids such as Undertone, Bludgeon, Clout, and Gravity
- Avians/dragonics such as Hammer and Whirlwing
- Gargoyles such as Anvil and Barithunder
- Insectoid quadrupeds including Back and Ironjam
- Reptiles including Forth
- Animalistic humanoids such as Major Mayhem and Volcano
Powers and abilities[]
Cyclones share many of the same abilities as other Cybertronian Mini-Cons.
Cyclones can fire energy projectiles from their chests and/or hands.
When in sphere mode, Cyclones can deploy a pair of hidden blaster cannons.
Certain Cyclones such as Back and Forth can emit magnetic waves from their mouths.
Culture and society[]
Somewhat feral and absolutely capricious in personality, Cyclones are known for being absolute terrors when angry or threatened. They have simple wants and are easily entertained with either mean-spirited pranks or straight-up attacks on each other out of pure boredom.
While they are generally unaligned, many Cyclones are allied with Decepticon Deployers. For example, Backtrack and Ransack were temporarily partnered with Overload; Hammer and Anvil are partnered with Bisk; and Back and Forth are partnered with Quillfire. Of course, a small number of Autobot-allied Cyclones exist.
Certain Cyclones are more intelligent than others, with Bludgeon and Clout serving Scorponok as bodyguards whereas Major Mayhem and his various duplicates serves Stockade as shock troopers.
