Cybercats (alternatively known as Nitrotigers, Cybertigers, and Ravage Drones) are a subspecies of semi-sapient felinoid Cybertronian Mini-Cassettes found on Cybertron and Animatron.
Biology[]
Anatomy[]
Cybercats share a similar to other Cybertronian Mini-Cassettes, except their robot modes resemble quadrupedal cats approximating jaguars and lions.
In addition to cassette tapes, Cybercats can transform into Cybertronian data disks.
Powers and abilities[]
Cybercats share many of the same abilities as other Mini-Cassettes, namely fitting into the chest compartments of Cybertronians such as Soundwave and Blaster.
Culture and society[]
In the wild, Cybercats are functionally similar to non-sapient cats until they are captured and domesticated by other Cybertronians. The most notable Cybercats include Ravage, Steeljaw, Stripes, Howlback, and Glit.
Cybercats are commonly affiliated with either the Autobots or the Decepticons upon domestication.
History[]
Primax Cluster[]
Thunderhoof idiomatically referred to Gnashteeth as having been dragged in by the cybercat. Sometime later, Lio Convoy, Cheetor, Katilla, Snarl-blast, and Cataclysm all adopted cybercat-based alternate modes upon undergoing the Beast Upgrade.
Aurex Cluster[]
Optimus Prime idiomatically referred to Velocitronian Decepticons Ransack and Crumplezone as having been dragged in by the cybercat.
Tyran Cluster[]
Ravage Drones were among the Decepticon Soldiers who attacked NEST operative Vanessa and her civilian partner Jake while investigating their activities in England.
Years later, Ravage Drones attacked the Autobots, Vanessa, and Jake when they investigated Kinetic Solutions Incorporated's headquarters in East China and later Wales.
Malgus Cluster[]
Autobots Steeljaw and Lionizer are Animatronian cybercats. Steeljaw is among the cassette-type animals owned as pets by Cybertronian pop-idol Rosanna.
Autobot Rad encountered Lionizer during his visit to Animatron. Though feral at first, Lionizer was eventually tamed by Rad. Since then, he has helped Rad greatly, pulling him out of danger on more than one occasion.
Alternate history[]
In some realities, Blaster's Recordabot Steeljaw exists as a Cybercat named "Cubbie".
