The crystalline entity is an apparent alien life form that appeared in the 2012 'found footage' movie, Chronicle.
Due to their interaction with the 'creature', three boys - Andrew, Matt and Steve - gained telekinetic powers. However, the fate of the crystalline entity remains unknown.
Although a sequel is in the works, with Jack Stanley to write the film, it's not known if the entity or another like it will return.
