The Cryptops are an alien species that were responsible for enslaving humanity, now renamed Tenderskins, as a domesticated pet spread across multiple planets.
Biology[]
Cryptops are noted to be large standing well over six feet. Due to their vocalizations, their method of communication is reminiscent of whistling that to the human ear is an ear-splitting squawk. They appear rather bug-like with rock-like skin. Cryptops have plating above their zygomatic bones with changes colors depending on the mood.
Culture[]
The Cryptops are a spacefaring culture that had enslaved humanity as pets. Not only have the domesticated them, but sold them to other worlds. After several generations the Cryptops have begun to implement conservation methods to preserve their tenderskins.
