Alien Species

"Cosmic" is a term used to describe a number of beings that inhabit The Cosmos. Though members of this species are mainly referred to as "Cousins", individuals such as Princess, Pokkle, and Marny are strictly confirmed to be unrelated to The Prince, making it possible that "Cousin" is a friendly term instead of a familial term. Cousin would not make sense as a species term.

Cosmics are extremely variable in overall height, starting at a known size of roughly a few inches tall during their younger years and apparently growing over time to sizes that can dwarf planets, putting them in comparison to Galactus and other massive beings. Their pill-shaped heads are a part of their skeletal anatomy. It is most likely that their antennas come off when they reach adulthood. The Cosmics come in many variations, but the most common form has a humanoid body with a pill-shaped head. Some Cosmics are (seemingly) robotic, but most of them are made via sexual reproduction. Cybernetics are not unheard of amongst the Cosmic species. These mechanical Cosmics are RoboKing, Mag, 8-Bit, Nickel, Drive, and Andro. Other Cosmics resemble foods and objects. It's been claimed that atmospheric pressure and mood can alter their size.

Sexual dimorphism is apparent between the men and women. Both the King and his father have far more detailed and humanlike faces, whereas The Queen's face resembles a child Cosmic. The Queen is much smaller than The King. The adult males appear to have more cylindrical and detailed heads, whereas the adult females have simple and pill-shaped heads.

Strangely enough, the female Cosmic Lalala displays no sign of a sex. The male Cosmics Kunihiro and Lucha are known to have nipples, but Lalala does not. However, sexual reproduction is known to occur. Like Humans, they can engage in this activity for both leisure and reproduction. At birth, a newborn Cosmic is incredibly small. This is most likely to make childbirth easier, as the pill-shaped head could lead to labor difficulties if the baby was larger. The Cousin Pu has an outie navel, further confirming the species' live birth. These infants seem to usually be breastfed, which may imply that Cousins are mammalian. Out of all of the mammal traits, they have mammary glands, warm blood, sweat glands, hair, and give birth to live young. The Cosmic Daisy has been described as a mammal.

When the Cosmics are cold, their cheeks turn red, like Humans. This suggests that they are warm-blooded, as the cheeks' blood vessels open to increase warmth.

The skeletal structure of this species is very similar to that of a Human.

Culture and society[]

Cosmics utilize a type of technology known as a Katamari, which is a ball that apparently creates a field of gravity that allows objects to get trapped to it, although a powerful enough hit will dislodge the objects. The Cosmics use this to their advantage to replace planets and stars, at the expense of other beings who become trapped upon the Katamari. Because of this procedure they are considered as a whole to be galactic threats, gathering hundreds of individuals at a time when a Katamari is transformed into a makeshift celestial body. However, it is known that these individuals are safe.

It is possible that Cosmics may partake in incest. This is due to Colombo and Lalala being mutually attracted to each other, even though they are both first cousins of The Prince. This would make sense due to Cosmics like Odeon having severe deformities.

From what is known, the Cosmic lifestyle is similar to humankind's. They engage in activities such as playing games, eating, sleeping, and are capable of getting drunk, for example. The majority of their activities seem very normal for Human standards.
