The Core are a microscopic species native to the planet Kevarzangia Two in the Stardoc Universe.
Biology[]
The Core dwelled within the sap of the gnorra trees. Like fish in a sea, they lived in the weightless environment of liquid resin.
History[]
The Core lived on Kevarzangia Two undiscovered even after years of habitation by the colonists of the League of Allied Worlds. However after workers began to cut down the gnorra trees where the species dwelled. Those sentients sprayed by the resin of the trees, became unintended carriers or castaways, the Core believed themselves to be kidnapped, the microscopic organisms began to simulate themselves as a virus in order to escape the body. The doctors of the colony were unable to recognize what the Core was believing it to be a highly adaptive virus that affected multiple species. However a human psychic managed to make contact with the Core, facilitating communications.
