Niolani of the Condor Nation.
The warriors of the Condor Nation are an alien humanoid matriarchal race whose members believe that females are the superior gender and males are inferior creatures, most of them useful only for menial labor. Such philosophy is applied both to their own species as well as any others they make contact with.
It is likely that members of this race require slightly different atmospheric conditions from Humans, since they felt the need to build a device called the Purification Arch on the planet Gamma VI when they intended to colonize it, and the colonists walked through it so they could properly breathe the air. Still, they seem to be capable of surviving on the planet without the Purification Arch, as demonstrated by Niolani and her guards, who arrived before the Arch was constructed.
