• Combi-Micromasters were first mentioned in a UK Letters page published in 1990. However, no specific Cybertronians have ever been identified as such until 2015. On an Andromeda - Axiom Nexus News Reporter post published that year, Mini-Cons Rook and Crosswise from Transformers: Armada were retroactively identified as Combi-Micromasters.
  • It is also likely that Nightcream and Nightcruz from the Transformers: Energon toyline are Combi-Micromasters due to sharing the same molds as Rook and Crosswise.
• The Multiforce have been labeled as simply "Micromasters" with the 2004 reissue of their toys, retroactively making them candidates for Combi-Micromasters.
