The Colonizers are an alien species from the Swords of the Swashbucklers Universe.
Biology[]
The Colonizers are humanoid, donning golden armor. Beneath their armor they are similar to humans save that their skin is purple and they possess brow crests. They are also genetically compatible with breeding with humans.
History[]
A millennium ago before the Colonizers rose to power, the species were themselves conquered by another race known as the Sidari. The Colonizers were enslaved and used a chattel, breed to replenish the stocks of their masters every thousand years. However the Colonizers learns that there was strength in numbers and turned against the Sidari.
Culture[]
The Colonizers are a militaristic species that seek to expand their reach across the stars. The Colonizer Empire is one of the most powerful factions in the known universe.
They usually target underdeveloped planets kidnapping the populace. The ship then leaves a signal beacon that calls forth other Colonizer ships to colonize the claimed world.
The Colonizers are ruled by a sovereign known as the Queen Mother.
