Collective Brutes are muscular ogre-like humanoids with green skin and ultra-dense bones scaling at an enormous size similar to Cybertronians.

Collective Brutes possess formidable strength due to their huge size.

Culture and society

Collective Brutes are known for their inbred loyalty, making them well suited for various menial tasks, particularly those that require the judicious usage of hired muscle. Their species are descendants of an earlier forerunner species before being affiliated with the Collective.

History

At some point, an Ilxian captain purchased Garnak and Codder from the Collective to work as janitors aboard his ship.

• The name of Garnak and Codder's species was not given during IDW's original Transformers continuity. It was not until the Decepticon Directive sourcebook for the Transformers Roleplaying Game in 2023, which elaborated on their relationship to the Collective.
• The inhabitants of the mystery colony planet resemble Garnak, although it is unclear if they are also Collective Brutes.
