Cloloiumians are a humanoid race native to the cold planet of Cloloium 2.
Biology[]
Cloloiumians are known for their unique ability to only need suck in air in order to eat. They suck in the air and filter out microbes through specialized hair-like structures within their stomach and intestines and absorb them for nutrients. However they can eat normal food if they want to, but because of their homeworld's lack of sufficiently large animals and plants most prefer to eat this way. The large tentacles on their hair act as a third set of limbs. They also use them for flight. Depending on what they have eaten, their tentacles will transform. For example, spicy foods causes the tentacles to change into something resembling fire. They also change color and overall movement depending on emotion.

When Cloloiumians are thirsty they just suck in the steam from waterfalls that drop from huge mesa like structures. When they are drunk on alcohol they can quickly sprout other tentacles from their hair and possible turn into another form of creature all together. They can also shoot powerful energy beams out of their forehead to relieve stress.
Culture and society[]
Cloloiumians are a communal species and frequently get homesick when not around their own family or kind in some time. They are also quite humble. Cloloium 2 is a poor planet compared to others, as they have no farmable plants or animals or any serious technology to help them out. Their planet is however resource rich. Most of the planet is owned by mining corporations and a majority of the population are hired as miners.
